marie madeline studio {giveaway}

In lieu of today's Fall Fashion Challenge outfit (which I simply had zero time for, sadly), I would like to introduce the lovely Long Ladies and a giveaway from their shop, Marie Madeline Studio.

These lovely ladies create patterns for adorable, fashionable, and modest skirts, aprons, etc. They also have a line of quality fabric. Today, they are offering two of my readers the chance to win:

street fair skirts pattern (ladies' sz. 10-18)
the street fair skirts pattern

summer shade jumper pattern (ladies' sz. 2-10)
summer shade jumper pattern

..aren't they darling?? I would love to get my hands on that street fair skirt! L-O-V-E. :)

Want to win? Please complete the 'mandatory' entry first, and THEN proceed to the 'extra entries' if you are really eager. ;)

// mandatory //
Complete this first, in a separate comment, before the extra entries!

for those with google, yahoo, twitter, or OpenID, follow this blog via that account

I'm currently sewing a checked, winter skirt (it is really classy and modest too which is good); I started sewing it a few months back during winter (in Australia), and I was nearly finished with it. I sewed the zip on, and everything. I came to try it on, and I tore the zip! Grr... so it is unfinished right now, but I'd like to get back to it soon. What are YOU sewing, Lucia?

I love the summer shade jumper pattern dress; that and the street fair skirt. I'd say they are my favourites in the shop!

My latest sewing project! I actually have one, surprise, surprise!

I am going to be sewing a simple, teal blue ball gown, in a Cinderella style, I guess you could say.

I am also going to be sewing a Regency dress. It's to be yellow with blue flowers, blue ribbon to trim it, and a bit of lace. The buttons are cream flower shaped.

I can't wait to get started on them!

You can see the material & patterns on www.simplemodestfashion.blogspot.com :D
